Contract type: Full time, Monday-Friday, 8:15 - 3:00 (temp to perm)

Pay rate: £12.50 p/h

An excellent secondary provision in the Rawtenstall area is looking to recruit a Youth Worker. The responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Work as part of a close team and understand the need to set high standards of practice.
  • Build professional relationships with the children and young people.
  • Play a crucial role in supporting the social, emotional, and academic development of students.
  • Provide guidance, encouragement, and personalised support to students facing challenges.
  • Contribute to creating a nurturing and empowering environment that promotes the overall well-being of our students.

This excellent school for young people aged 11 to 16 support students who have individual needs based on social, emotional and mental health difficulties. With purpose-built facilities such as cookery rooms, Design Technology workshops and art studios, the school’s main priority is supporting all learners towards success.
