A fast-improving secondary school in Reading, Berkshire, is seeking a passionate and dynamic Teacher of Music and Drama to join our permanent staff starting in September or sooner. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire and nurture the artistic talents of our students.

Key Responsibilities:
*Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Music and Drama lessons that cater to a diverse range of abilities.
*Foster a creative and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm.
*Develop and implement schemes of work and lesson plans in line with the curriculum.
*Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
*Organize and lead extracurricular activities, such as school performances, concerts, and drama productions.
*Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience for students.
*Contribute to the school's continuous improvement and commitment to excellence in the arts.

Requirements:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
*A degree in Music, Drama, or a related field.
*Proven experience teaching Music and Drama at the secondary school level.
*Strong knowledge of the national curriculum for Music and Drama.
*Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
*A passion for the arts and a commitment to fostering creativity in young people.
*Strong organizational and communication skills.
*Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated team.
*Enthusiasm for extracurricular involvement and the ability to inspire students beyond the classroom.
