An Ofsted graded ‘outstanding’ secondary school in Preston are looking to appoint an experienced Teacher Assistant, ideally from September 2024. The school are keen to meet with Teaching Assistants who are eventually seeking a permanent contract.

The school are looking for a talented individual to help foster a caring and supportive learning environment for their pupils. The successful Teaching Assistant will be a committed team player with excellent organisational and technical skills, and will have the ability to problem solve.

You will have:

  • 5 A*-C’s at GCSE level, including English, Maths and Science
  • Experience of working with young people in an educational setting
  • Experience of providing Teaching Assistant / pastoral support in an educational setting
  • The ability to maintain positive relationships with students, staff and parents/carers
  • The ability to speak in front of small-large groups of students and staff
