Salary: £25.00 Per hour

We are currently seeking a dedicated 1:1 SEN Maths and English Tutor to join our team in Rushden, located in the East Midlands region of Northamptonshire. This is a permanent full-time position in the Education and Training sector.

  • Provide tailored one-on-one tutoring in Maths and English to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Develop individualised lesson plans to meet the specific learning needs of each student
  • Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to support student learning and development
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and feedback
  • Recognised qualification in Education or relevant field
  • Specialist knowledge in SEN education
  • Experience in providing individualised support to students with diverse learning needs
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
  • Proven experience in tutoring Maths and English to students with SEN
  • Strong knowledge of SEN strategies and best practises
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Experience working with children and young people with specific learning difficulties

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
